As I moved into my role as a Marketing Associate at Woodhaven, I had the honor of being able to hold much higher stakes for our most important events and visual design that truly impacts Woodhaven and the people it serves most intimately. The Woodhaven Empowering Independence, Transforming Lives event was an important step in Woodhaven's path towards creating deeper connections and partnerships within the community, with an emphasis on giving.
For this event, I was tasked with a myriad of specifics that needed to be created, such as the PowerPoint for the event itself, pledge cards, and the program. This specific event really had me stepping into more of a professional design role, and I could definitely see my work evolving with that growth. At the event itself, I took various photos of the attendees as well as the speakers, with an emphasis on these candid and personable shots that our community could truly connect with.
